There will be brazilian food, music and fun!

Thanks to all who attended the June 2007 open mic.
The next is happening Sat., july 14th, 2007 at the Tamale Queen in Fruitvale.
We'll will be starting at 6pm and going till 9pm or so.
The cafe is a half a block east of the Fruitvale BART station on 1212 Fruitvale Avenue.
Cover charge is $5-10 sliding scale.
All proceeds go to musicforcanoa.

The Open Mic is back... starting Friday June 22 2007
At the Tamale Queen in the Fruitvale district of Oakland. The cafe is a half a block east of the Fruitvale BART station on 1212 Fruitvale Avenue.
The open mic gets under way at 8pm.
Cover charge is $5-10 sliding scale.
There should be some great music (and hopefully yours, too!)

The “The Real fo’ Reals” are a Brazilian inspired Jazz-Rock-Reggae band which plays original music. Consisting of jazz and world music enthusiasts, The Real Fo’ Reals create an effortless, cosmopolitan mash-up, equal parts mood and infectious rhythm.
